Welcome to Live Oak Elementary School, one of seven schools in the Live Oak School District.

At Live Oak we serve students from preschool through fifth grade. Live Oak is located in an unincorporated area of Santa Cruz County between the cities of Santa Cruz and Capitola.

Together, students, staff and parents create a positive, challenging, supportive learning community. We teach and model respect for self, others and our environment. A strong foundation in the academics and participation in the arts are both highly valued. Students have the ability to problem solve and work independently and cooperatively within a social or academic group. Learning is viewed as a lifelong journey that is joyful and prepares students to become responsible and productive citizens of our world.
